Hello, Class of 2026 Parents! We are excited to kick off senior year with all of you.  Please make sure you are receiving emails from the senior class parent partners. We sent our first one on Friday, August 15.

Parent Checklist

• Pay your Senior Dues today! Dues are only $50 and cover all school-supported events including senior breakfast, senior t-shirts, senior assembly and lunch, senior family picnic (student meal only), graduation and reception, plus caps, gowns, tassels, and diploma covers.  All dues must be received by September 15, so don't delay and pay today.  Questions about class fundraising? Contact Bonnie Hopkins.

• Donate to the Class of 2026 to help cover other PTSA-led or senior-led events such as Queen of Hearts and other senior celebrations. 

• Senior Bricks: Purchase an engraved brick to be placed in the Old Courtyard to honor your Senior, family members, alumni or staff.  You can choose between two lines or three lines.  

• Start gathering pictures of your student for the senior slideshow that will accompany a senior family event later in the year.  Details of where to upload your pictures will be communicated soon.  

• Like and follow Broughton Class of 2026 on Instagram so that you don't miss any important announcements for senior year events, graduation, and celebrations!!!

October 2 Parent Chat:
During our first parent chat of the school year, Ms. Wanda Moore, BHS Financial Aid Advisor, answered all of our questions related to FAFSA and financial aid for college. Contact Ms. Moore, at wmoore@wcpss.net if you have additional questions.

Sign Up for Parent/Student Counselor Meeting

All seniors are encouraged to attend a senior meeting to discuss post-secondary plans. Sign up for a meeting with your counselor. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend.

Hello Broughton Families!

My name is Betsy Graves, and I’m honored to serve as the Senior Class Coordinator for the Class of 2026. I’m excited to support our students and families throughout this important year, and I look forward to partnering with you to make it a memorable one.

I’m here to answer any questions you may have about senior events, deadlines, and next steps. If I don’t have the answer, I’ll connect you with the right person or resource. I’m especially grateful to our amazing parent partners, PTSA, class advisors, families, students and dedicated staff who help make senior year such a success.

All senior information is also available on the BHS website under “Seniors 2026” (located in the Student Life section). Please note that some items will be released in January and March, and those are marked accordingly in the materials.

I’ll continue sharing updates and reminders throughout the year via School Messenger, PTSA, and TalkingPoints. Senior year is full of excitement and important milestones, and we want every student to be informed, involved, and celebrated.
